Hello, my name is Milica — the artist behind Mima Bokity Art.

Drawing and painting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I didn’t grow up in an easy environment, and art was never just a hobby for me — it was something that kept me focused when everything else felt uncertain. Over time it became the one skill I could always rely on.

I studied textile and fashion design and explored different creative paths, but I kept coming back to animals. I don’t just like painting pets - I relate to them. They’re honest, consistent, and they don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. That’s something I value deeply, and it’s what I try to reflect in my work.

I moved to Austria recently and started my life and business here from zero - just my paintings and the decision to take this seriously. Every portrait I create is painted by hand in acrylics, without shortcuts or mass production. I work slowly, paying attention to the details that only someone who truly knows the animal would notice.

My goal isn’t to create decorative art. I want every piece to feel personal - something that genuinely looks like your pet and still feels right years from now.
